Stores

Connect the sales channels where your products are published and sold, including your own MyDesigns Store.

Stores overview

Stores are how MyDesigns connects to the places you actually sell. Each connected store lets you publish products outward and bring orders back in, so your catalogue and fulfillment stay centralized no matter how many channels you run.

You can connect as many stores as your plan allows and switch between them across the app. Products, orders, and syncing are always scoped to the store they belong to, keeping each channel cleanly separated.

Supported stores

MyDesigns supports several store types, from established marketplaces to your own hosted storefront. Each connects in its own way, but once linked they all behave consistently inside MyDesigns.

MyDesigns Store (recommended)

Spin up a hosted storefront directly inside MyDesigns without any external platform. A MyDesigns Store gives you a ready-made place to sell — including digital downloads and POD products — with checkout, buyer orders, and fulfillment handled natively by MyDesigns.

This is the store type we recommend starting with. There is nothing to authorize, no hosting or plugins to maintain, no marketplace fees, and you own the customer relationship — so you keep more of every sale and can build a direct audience.

Etsy

Connect your Etsy shop to publish listings directly to the Etsy marketplace and pull buyer orders back into MyDesigns. Listings are tied to their Etsy listing ID, so edits to titles, tags, pricing, and variants can be synced to the live listing without recreating it.

Shopify

Connect your Shopify store to publish products to your own Shopify storefront and sync incoming orders. Because Shopify is your own hosted store, you keep full control of branding and checkout while MyDesigns manages products and fulfillment behind the scenes.

WooCommerce

Connect your self-hosted WooCommerce store (WordPress) to publish products and import orders. Ideal if you already run your storefront on WordPress and want MyDesigns to handle product creation, syncing, and fulfillment.

The MyDesigns Store

Unlike Etsy, Shopify, and WooCommerce, a MyDesigns Store isn't a channel you connect to — it's a storefront we run for you. You publish products to it the same way you publish to any connected channel, and buyers browse, purchase, and check out directly on the store.

Orders placed on your store flow straight into the MyDesigns order dashboard, and fulfillment is handled natively — so selling on your own store keeps everything in one place.

Supported product types

A MyDesigns Store supports both physical print-on-demand (POD) products and digital products, and a single order can contain a mix of the two.

Print-on-demand products
Physical items produced through our print partners or a connected catalog such as Printify. When an order comes in, it's routed automatically to the print partner for production and shipping.
Digital products
Downloadable files that are delivered to the customer automatically once payment is confirmed — no manual action required.

Because POD products can be sourced from our print partners or from catalog integrations like Printify, everything in your catalog is available to sell on your store.

Publishing and bulk tools

You publish to a MyDesigns Store using the same tools you already use across MyDesigns, including bulk workflows for larger catalogs.

Bulk publishing
Publish many products at once and use a shared template to apply consistent settings across a batch instead of editing each listing individually.
Mockup generation
Generate product mockups from the built-in mockup engine or your own PSD templates before publishing.
AI listing content
Generate titles, tags, and descriptions for your listings automatically, so products are ready to publish faster.

Managing your MyDesigns Store

The store is designed to stay manageable as your catalog grows, with merchandising and financial options built in.

Inventory management
Filter products by store status on the products page to keep large catalogs organized.
Merchandising
Group products into Store Collections and surface Recommended Products to guide buyers through your catalog.
Financials
Payments run through Stripe Express. You can share a single connected account across multiple stores or set up a separate account per store.
Flexible setup
A store can stay active even before a payment method is configured, so you can build it out gradually.

Hosting and infrastructure

Because we host the store for you, the underlying infrastructure is handled on our side.

Custom domains
Every store gets a free subdomain, and you can connect your own custom domain when you're ready.
Free SSL
Each storefront includes an SSL certificate at no extra cost.
Responsive by default
Stores are optimized for desktop and mobile automatically.
Tax handling
Taxes are handled through Stripe Express and Stripe Tax, so tax collection is managed as part of checkout.

Built-in marketing tools

Your store will include marketing and conversion features natively, so you won't need to add separate apps for them.

Product reviews
An integrated review system for both your store and individual products.
Klaviyo integration
Connect your store to Klaviyo to sync customers and run email and SMS marketing automation.
Meta & Google Shopping
Sync your products to Facebook, Instagram, and Google Shopping to advertise across those channels.

Connecting a store

External stores connect through a secure authorization flow. For Etsy and Shopify you authorize MyDesigns against your account, while WooCommerce links through your site's API credentials. MyDesigns custom stores require no external connection — you create them instantly from within the app.

Once a store is connected it appears across the app as a selectable channel, letting you scope products and orders to it. Detailed, platform-specific setup steps live in the Integrations section.

Etsy setup
Authorize your Etsy shop and start publishing listings.
Shopify setup
Connect your Shopify storefront to publish and sync products.
WooCommerce setup
Link your self-hosted WooCommerce store via its API.
