Mockups
Render precise product previews from your own PSD mockup files.
Mockups overview
Mockups let you preview a design on a real product before it ever goes live. Instead of relying on a fixed set of templates, MyDesigns gives you a complete, custom solution for rendering mockups directly from your own Photoshop (PSD) files.
The engine is built for speed and accuracy — it reads the layers and smart objects in your PSD and places your artwork exactly where it belongs, producing reliable, pixel-precise results every time.
Uploading and managing PSD files
You bring your own PSD mockup files into MyDesigns and manage them in one place. Upload new files, organize the ones you already have, and remove those you no longer need — your PSD library is entirely yours to curate.
Once a PSD is uploaded, it becomes available to configure and reuse, so you build your mockup library once and draw from it whenever you create designs or products.
The configurator
Every PSD is set up through our configurator, where you define how your artwork should be applied — which layer or smart object receives the design and how it maps onto the mockup.
Configuring a PSD is a one-time step. After it is set up, the mockup is ready to be rendered on demand with any design, giving you consistent, repeatable results without redoing the work each time.
Using mockups
Once configured, your mockups are available in both the design and product create mockup actions. Whether you are generating previews for a design or building a product, you can render your PSD mockups directly within those flows.
This keeps your entire mockup workflow inside MyDesigns — from uploading the PSD, to configuring it, to rendering final previews — with fast and precise output every time.
Limits and guidelines
Each PSD file can be up to 500 MB in size. While that ceiling is generous, we strongly recommend keeping your files as small as possible — smaller PSDs render faster and keep the whole system performant for you.
