WooCommerce connects as a marketplace with a fully implemented integration. Because it is self-hosted, its performance depends heavily on your own WooCommerce setup.

WooCommerce is one of the marketplaces you can connect to MyDesigns. Once linked, you publish products to your WooCommerce store and manage orders from one place, just like the other channels.

Connecting WooCommerce

You connect your WooCommerce store to MyDesigns using your site's API credentials. Once authorized, your store is linked and ready to receive products.

Publishing and syncing

WooCommerce is fully implemented — you can publish products directly to your store from MyDesigns, including titles, images, and variants, and orders are synced back into the MyDesigns order dashboard so you can track and fulfill them alongside your other platforms.

A note on performance

Unlike Etsy or Shopify, WooCommerce is self-hosted, so speed and availability depend heavily on your own WooCommerce setup — your hosting, plugins, and server configuration.

With Etsy and Shopify, we rely on their infrastructure, which is generally very stable and fast. With WooCommerce, the experience is only as reliable as the store it runs on. A well-configured, well-hosted WooCommerce store performs great; a slow or overloaded one can make publishing and syncing feel slower or occasionally unavailable.
