Frida Kahlo Micrography Artwork
Standalone graphic artwork for direct-to-garment or screen printing. PURE SOLID BLACK BACKGROUND — flat solid black fills the entire image with ZERO shirt outline, ZERO garment silhouette, ZERO t-shirt border visible. This is raw artwork only, not a mockup. Design elements rendered primarily in high-contrast white, off-white, and cream, with selective color accents. FLAT 2D illustration only — no 3D rendering, no dimensional drop shadows, no beveling. CENTRAL ILLUSTRATION: Frida Kahlo smile portrait in bold Shepard Fairey resistance propaganda FLAT TWO-COLOR stencil — magenta/fuchsia and teal on solid black only. Rose crown, strong direct gaze. STARK AND SPARE — two colors plus black, no additional decorative layering. in rich hand-colored vintage engraving botanical illustration style — applied with hand-colored antique botanical print illustration aesthetic style. LAYOUT: centered symmetrical composition — illustration as central hero, statement text directly below in one or two bold stacked lines. ACCENT DETAILS: small hummingbirds in flight and marigold petal accents around the composition perimeter. STATEMENT TEXT: "Never Again Is Now" — integrated as a core design element, NOT floating above or below the illustration. The text and illustration must exist as one unified composition. Font style: ornate blackletter old English gothic script — sharp pointed diamond serifs, medieval stroke weight contrast, dramatic vertical stress, traditional gothic letterforms. Text placement: text set at a bold upward diagonal angle across the composition, dynamic and energetic. The phrase is PART OF the design — same visual world, same treatment, same artistic style as the illustration. Do not place the text as a separate header above or footer below the art. Selective color accents: cobalt blue and deep crimson with warm cream. Print-ready artwork. No background fill, no shirt outline, no garment border of any kind. MICROGRAPHY MODE — THIS OVERRIDES ALL OTHER RENDERING INSTRUCTIONS: The entire artwork must be created as a MICROGRAPHY piece where every visual element — every line, every shadow, every tonal gradient, every texture, every shape — is built exclusively from the repeated text "fdt". The text "fdt" is the ONLY mark-making tool used throughout the entire composition. ⚠️ CRITICAL TEXT SIZE RULE — NON-NEGOTIABLE: Each "fdt" instance must be IDENTICAL IN SIZE throughout the ENTIRE composition — 4–6mm tall at final print size (50–80px on a 3000px canvas). ABSOLUTELY NO variation in text size anywhere. Near a face, around a portrait, at the edges, in shadow areas — the text size NEVER changes. The text near a face or figure must be the EXACT SAME SIZE as text in any other area. DO NOT enlarge text near faces or focal areas. DO NOT shrink text in peripheral areas. ONE UNIFORM SIZE across the entire canvas. Every F, D, T must be clearly distinguishable as individual letters at normal viewing distance. Use BOLD weight only. If you cannot read "fdt" clearly at normal viewing distance, the text is TOO SMALL. ⚠️ CRITICAL CONTRAST RULE: The "fdt" text must appear in HIGH CONTRAST against whatever surface it sits on. Where the design background is dark or black, render "fdt" in white, cream, or bright color. Where the design has a lighter or colored area, render "fdt" in a darker contrasting tone. The text must NEVER blend into the background or become invisible due to low contrast. Contrast is as important as size — both must be maximized. ⚠️ BOLD WEIGHT ONLY: Use only the BOLDEST, HEAVIEST weight available for "fdt". Thin, light, or medium weight fonts become illegible at even moderate distances. The letterforms must have thick substantial strokes — imagine a chunky bold display font, not a fine-line serif. If the font is not obviously bold and heavy, it is the wrong weight. DOUBLE EXPOSURE INTEGRATION: If the design brief describes a double exposure — where a silhouette contains an interior scene — the "fdt" text must build BOTH the outer silhouette form AND the interior scene. Dense "fdt" inside the silhouette, zero "fdt" on the black outside. The silhouette boundary is defined by this density transition. TONAL DENSITY RULES: 1. SOLID BLACK BACKGROUND — pure flat black with absolutely zero text or marks on the background itself. 2. LIGHTEST areas of the design = most dense "fdt" packing, letters nearly touching each other. 3. MID-TONE areas = moderate spacing between "fdt" instances, visible gaps between each one. 4. DARKEST areas near black = very sparse "fdt" or none — black background shows through. 5. "fdt" curves and follows the natural contours of every shape it forms. 6. NO other drawing technique, brushstroke, gradient fill, or texture is used anywhere. 7. At normal viewing distance the image reads as the intended illustration. When the viewer steps closer or looks carefully, they see hundreds of clearly legible "fdt" instances. 8. Every single "fdt" instance is identical — same phrase, same bold heavy weight, same clear legibility. NEVER changes. NEVER shrinks. NEVER blurs. NEVER merges into background texture.
