Cookie Policy
Effective since 2022 · Last modified: 22. june, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how MyDesigns, Inc. ("MyDesigns," "we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on the mydesigns.io website, applications, and related services (the "Services"). It describes what these technologies are, why we use them, and the choices available to you. For more about how we handle personal information generally, see our Privacy Policy.
1. What are cookies and similar technologies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make sites work, to remember your preferences, and to provide reporting and advertising. Session cookies expire when you close your browser; persistent cookies remain until they expire or you delete them.
We also use similar technologies, including pixels (also called web beacons or tags), local storage, and software development kits (SDKs), which function like cookies to recognize your device, remember information, and measure activity. In this Policy, we refer to all of these collectively as "cookies."
Cookies may be set by us ("first-party cookies") or by third parties that provide services on our behalf, such as analytics and advertising providers ("third-party cookies").
2. How we use cookies
We use cookies to operate and secure the Services, remember your settings and preferences, understand how the Services are used so we can improve them, and measure and deliver advertising. Some cookies are necessary for the Services to function; others are optional and used only with your consent where required.
3. Categories of cookies we use
Strictly necessary cookies. Required for the Services to function and cannot be switched off in our systems. They enable core features such as logging in, maintaining your session, securing the Services, and remembering items during checkout. Because they are essential, they are not subject to consent.
Functional cookies. Enable enhanced functionality and personalization, such as remembering your username, language, and preferences. If you do not allow them, some features may not work as intended.
Analytics and performance cookies. Help us understand how visitors interact with the Services - such as which pages are visited and how the Services perform - so we can improve them. These include providers such as Google Analytics.
Advertising and targeting cookies. Used by us and our advertising partners to deliver and measure advertising that may be relevant to you, including interest-based or cross-context behavioral advertising, and to limit how often you see an ad. Depending on your jurisdiction, this activity may be considered "sharing" or a "sale" of personal information under applicable law (see Section 7 and our Privacy Policy).
Social media cookies. Set by social media platforms when you interact with social features or content, enabling sharing and supporting measurement and advertising. These are governed by the relevant platform's own privacy policy.
The specific cookies in use, and their providers and durations, are available in our cookie preference center, accessible through the cookie banner and settings on our website, and may change over time.
4. Pixels and email tracking
Our emails may contain a pixel that tells us whether an email was opened and whether links were clicked, which helps us understand which messages are useful and improve our communications. If you prefer the pixel not load, you can read emails in plain-text view or with images disabled, and you can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.
5. How long cookies last
The cookies we use last for varying periods depending on their purpose. Session cookies last only for your visit, while persistent cookies last for a defined period or until you delete them. Durations for specific cookies are shown in our cookie preference center.
6. Your choices and managing cookies
You have several ways to control cookies:
- Cookie banner and preference center. When you visit our website, our consent banner lets you accept or reject non-essential cookies and manage your preferences by category. You can change your choices at any time through the cookie settings/preference center on our website.
- Browser controls. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies and alert you when cookies are set. Blocking some cookies may affect how the Services function.
- Advertising opt-outs. You can opt out of interest-based advertising from participating companies through industry tools such as the Digital Advertising Alliance (optout.aboutads.info), the Network Advertising Initiative (optout.networkadvertising.org), and, in the EU/UK, Your Online Choices (youronlinechoices.eu).
- "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information." If you are a resident of California or another U.S. state that provides the right, you can opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising using the controls described in our Privacy Policy. We honor recognized opt-out preference signals, such as Global Privacy Control (GPC), where required.
7. Consent
Where required by law (including in the EEA and UK under the GDPR and ePrivacy rules), we set non-essential cookies - including analytics, advertising, and social media cookies - only with your consent, obtained through our cookie banner. Strictly necessary cookies do not require consent. You may withdraw your consent at any time through the cookie preference center, and doing so will not affect cookies already placed before withdrawal.
8. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date, and your continued use of the Services after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
