Alla Prima Sketch of Draft Horse

A rustic alla prima oil sketch, full bleed, no frames. Subject: A Draft Horse eating hay in a snowy paddock. The style is loose and gestural; the artist uses thick, wet alla prima strokes to quickly capture the horse's mass and breath vapor. The colors are muted earth tones and white, focusing on spontaneity and movement.
