Rustic Porcupine Oil Painting

A rustic oil painting, full bleed, no frames. Subject: A Porcupine slowly descending an icy rock face. The rocks and ice are rendered using a palette knife for sharp, angular texture and cold color contrast. The animal's dark fur and quills are a thick, dark scumble of Ivory Black and Van Dyke Brown.
