Barn Owl in Flight at Dusk

A high-contrast oil painting, full bleed, no frames. Subject: A Barn Owl taking flight from a dilapidated wooden barn roof at dusk. The moonlight catches the underside of the wings, which are painted with thin, smooth scumbling of cool white, while the dark structure is rendered with deep, transparent glazes of Prussian Blue and Umber.
